i'm still having to login every time i leave the site and re-visit
ive been reading the FAQ and it seems like there is meant to be a box when u login which allows u the option of the site remembering your login but it doesnt seem to be there

Unfortunately, I am also still forced to log in every time I visit the site.
I tried messing around with the cookie thing and sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I only know enough about 'puters to get into trouble, but tweaking my "acceptance" of cookies might've made a difference - at least from my end, but I suppose one shouldn't need to do that, besides it all went back to default anyway and square one. Being able to access this board remains consistent.
Bill says that guests shouldn't be able to post anymore. He's working on the cookie thing.

Much like on the "old" forums, I think that the background color for a posted message should also form the background for the username and the person's avatar. I find that at the moment the two segments look sort of disconnected. Lets have one color for the whole rectangle. That should make things visually appealing.
One more thing: On the "Drumming chat" page that displays all topics, why not have the columns labeled "Author" and "views" be gray rather than white.

I'm not sure exactly. I think having archives is a good idea. According to HB its not an option right now but I just expressed willingness to pay so we'll see if that suddenly makes it an option.

Looks like there *may* be a way to archive the Hostboard forum. I'm thinking it may be time soon to make the move. Not many votes in the current poll at the new forum. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing this if there was a majority opposition. Get your asses over there and vote.
